Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are urging Klopp to spend in January after the proposed departures of several players over the course of the summer, with the resident Reds who prop up our bar waxing lyrical about potential exits.
Liverpool have started the season off rather sluggishly as they drop outside of the European places. With many people believing that the Reds could conjure up a title challenge, it looks as if they will fall short of this if they are to continue their ways as they begin to lack consistency.
However, after a good run of form after the international break of which they enjoyed an impressive display against title challengers United where they could have easily won the game, the tide could be turning. They begin to be looking as if they are playing some of the football of last season as they turn over Slovenian champions Maribor in an emphatic 7-0 win away from home.
Sitting proudly at the top of their Champions League group and unbeaten so far, it looks as if the European stage could be the main aim for the Reds this season.
In what is an averagely sized squad, Klopp seems to have narrowed down his matchday squads to the same group of players which has really worked for him in recent times. However, there are a number of players who have only made a couple of appearances that live on the fringes, who may need a clear out.
With a central defender surely still the main aim for Liverpool, it looks as if they may need to clear some space or enable themselves to gain some extra funds before the January transfer window starts.
So, with that in mind, here are 3 Liverpool players that could possibly see themselves go out of the exit door at Anfield…
Danny Ings

The England man joined Liverpool from fellow Premier League side Burnley but has endured a horrific time through injury, as he’s played just the 8 games in what is his 3rd season with the club.
Having not really played any form of football in the 2 years at the club, it looks as if Ings would find it increasingly difficult to perform at the top level with the quality forever growing.
With January just around the corner, Liverpool won’t want to be relying on someone as liable to injury as this man as they look to have already filled out their squad.
Lazar Markovic

Lazar Markovic hasn’t really taken to life in the Premier League as he has been removed from any plans of Klopp’s moving forward. The Serbian international was sent out on loan to relegated side Hull City for 12 games last season as he looked to produce regular football in the top flight.
However, after not making any appearances this season it looks as if he will inevitably be on his way out of the club come January as he goes in search of regular first-team football. For a player that had so much promise for the club but just hasn’t featured, it seems silly to have the dead weight lying around in the fringes.
Jon Flanagan

Many Liverpool fans had high hopes for this man when he first was brought into the side from the youth team, but ever since his first season, he hasn’t managed to perform at a high level. The full-back was really brought to life under Brendan Rodgers and the young man was known as the ‘Scouse Cafu’.
However, since catching the long-term Liverpool injury syndrome, it has been evident that he has lost his touch with the game as he struggles to come to grips with the level of play. After being sent out on loan to Burnley for 6 games last season it was beginning to look up for the 24-year-old.
But ever since the loan of last season, the young man has been sat twiddling his thumbs as Klopp completely removes him from his plans which makes a move away from Anfield ever the more likely.
So Liverpool fans, do you believe these 3 players deserve to stay at Anfield?
