3 players that Leeds United simply must be keeping tabs on during the international break

It’s that time again at the Transfer Tavern, the time of the season that league football is put on hold for the international break.

However, that doesn’t mean that the league clubs stop their work or business, especially the Football League clubs who still train and work on their plans before returning back to action the following week.

Club scouts will be working extra hard and putting in the time to help the club find their next transfer targets, ahead of what could be a Premier League campaign.

Garry Monk will be surely distributing his scouts all over Europe to watch and keep tabs on potential players for the club.

So with that in mind we want to take a look at the THREE players that they should be realistically keeping tabs on as potential suitors for the club…

BRITT ASSOMBALONGA

The Nottingham Forest striker will be away playing for his native DR Congo this international break, and the highly regarded Championship striker could be a brilliant addition to the Leeds set-up.

Although they already have an insane striker in Chris Wood, who cannot stop scoring, he is their only strong out-and-out striker.

If the Yorkshire side are not make their long awaited return to the big time, then they’ll need as much quality in depth as possible.

JACK HARPER

Formerly of Real Madrid and Brighton, now playing his football for Malaga’s second side and absolutely tearing it up with them.

Harper will be featuring for the Scottish Under-21 side in this international break, and is surely to be watched by a number of clubs and Leeds should be one of them.

Harper would be a great addition to an already strong Leeds set-up.

DEDRYCK BOYATA

The Celtic centre-back will be featuring for Belgium this international break, having been very impressive for the Bhoys in the SPFL this year.

With it being a very high possibility that Leeds could be a Premier League side next season, they could use a centre-back with Premier League experience to come in and help to strengthen Leeds’ already quality back line.

He should be on Monk’s shopping list for sure.
