We are excited here at the Transfer Tavern at the prospect of watching an in-form Watford side take on an in-form Liverpool side at Anfield.

Our punters here are relishing the opportunity of watching Klopp’s side in action, having witnessed a great start as they find themselves level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.

Though, they will have their hands full with the visit of Watford this weekend.

Watford are having a great season and aren’t letting the off-field issues with the take-over of the club effect them on the pitch.

They’ve beaten some great sides already this season the likes of Manchester United and West Ham.

With that, we take a look at the THREE players to keep your eye out for in the game between Liverpool and Watford this weekend….

LORIS KARIUS

A mixed start for the German goalkeeper.

After a solid start to pre-season, a hand injury meant that Klopp had to rely on a very unreliable Simon Mignolet.

Now the 24-year-old German is back fit he is an obvious first choice – he has made a few mistakes but overall a very good acquisition from Mainz in Germany.

The shot stopper could be vital if the home side are to continue their push towards Premier League glory.

TROY DEENEY

The Watford captain has yet again been influential at the start of the campaign; either in contributing towards or scoring the goals.

The 28-year-old could cause all kinds of problems for the Liverpool defence, who have leaked a few silly goals in an otherwise glistening season for the Anfield side.

Should Deeney be on his top form this weekend – it could cause all kind of issues and we wouldn’t be surprised winning or losing that this guy bags himself a goal at Anfield.

SADIO MANE

We could of had any of the trio at the top of the Liverpool side – Mane, Firmino or Coutinho.

But for us here at the Tavern we feel Mane could have the biggest impact on the game, although it is likely the trio will as a unit.

Klopp appears to have just allowed the three to flow around the attack at Liverpool, and it’s working wonders so far for the German.

The trio look to be a big force in the Premier League this campaign.

If they can maintain it throughout the season there will be no reason why they can’t push for the title – starting with Watford this Saturday.

Mane has been a pleasure to watch here at the Transfer Tavern and we feel he will only continue to improve as the months go by.
