Crystal Palace were heavily reliant on Wilfried Zaha’s skill and guile and Benteke’s goals last season.

Whether De Boer’s side has enough strength in depth on the attacking front is up for debate.

Benteke Rumours

The big man has been linked with a move to Everton this summer.

Benteke enjoyed better success at Palace last season than he did at Liverpool.

The Belgian netted 15 times in 36 appearances for Palace, but Ronald Koeman’s Everton appear to be the ideal model for transfer negotiations this summer.

Losing Benteke’s goals would prove difficult to replace.

Unseasoned De Boer

It should be noted that new boss Frank De Boer will have to get used to the rigours and demands of the Premier League.

The Dutchman is new to managing in the English game and could find it hard to get to grips with the full on, intense nature of the top-flight in England.
