Liverpool are having somewhat of a mini crisis and there games in January have well and truly took their toll on the squad as we begin February.
Our Reds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are an unhappy bunch of late, and must be fearful going into this weekend’s game with an in form Tottenham.
For the first time since he took over, Jurgen Klopp is under scrutiny and a tiny bit of pressure, and it will be interesting to see how he gets his team to react this weekend.
The Spurs game promises to be a tough one, and talk among the Liverpool fans gathered at the fruit machine has been around just what they can do to overcome Pochettino’s men.
Our landlord though thinks they can win it, and we agree. So, here are THREE things Jurgen Klopp needs to do to ensure his side beat Spurs today…
Bring some fresh legs in

The Liverpool style of play relies on heavy pressing and excellent fitness levels, and this has clearly affected the team in 2017 so far.
Klopp should look to utilise his squad this weekend and bring in some players who will be full of running and energy.
If he sticks to his guns with a similar eleven to what he has been selecting, he runs the risk of being overrun by this impressive Spurs side.
Stop Dele Alli

If you are going to stop Spurs, then you can go a long way to doing so by limiting the England mans impact on the game.
Alli is crucial to Spurs, and his runs from deep into the 18 yard box bring him plenty of goals and assists.
If Liverpool are to get a result, they need to ensure that Alli has little to no impact on the game from the centre of the park.
Make use of Danny Rose being missing

The news that flying left back Rose is going to be missing for a few weeks for Spurs is a big loss to the White Hart Lane club, and Klopp could use his loss to his advantage.
The loss of Rose is huge, and could open up an opportunity for Liverpool to make inroads down the left hand side of the Spurs defence.
Klopp will be wise to target this area of the pitch today and try and get some success out of the game.
