This weekend the Transfer Tavern will be packed to the rafters with punters as Arsenal take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

We will see the coming together of Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger once again, only adding an extra layer of spice to a fixture that has already proved itself as one of the fierce in English football.

The two have quite the history in previous fixtures and not to mention the school boy insults thrown about from both parties.

Come Saturday lunchtime, the Tavern will be as wild as ever.

This time, Wenger has the chance more so than ever before to get one over on old foe Mourinho, as they face an out of form United side.

Le Prof has a torrid record against Mourinho and one he’ll for sure look to rectify at the theatre of dreams this weekend.

But it combines two things Wenger hates the most playing Mourinho and playing Man Utd… Both of which have a history of not always ending well.

Still, we feel Wenger must do these THREE things for Arsenal and his side will beat Man Utd on Saturday.

RISK SANCHEZ

So it was well known and documented that Alexis Sanchez picked up an injury whilst away with Chile and that he was 50/50 for the game they played on Monday evening, which he later played and scored twice.

If that’s Alexis with an injury, we’d hate to see him fully fit.

Wenger has a history of not risking players in the situation Sanchez finds himself in, but if they are to beat United they’ll need him in their team.

MAN MARK RASHFORD

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended, it means more than likely that United will opt for the young Marcus Rashford against the Gunners.

The England man has a habit of scoring in the big games and this will be no different for the 19-year-old.

He caused all the problems for Arsenal’s eventual downfall in the title race last season when he scored a brace as United beat them last season.

START OLIVIER GIROUD

The French forward was on the bench in the last Arsenal game before the international break and after scoring a brace at Sunderland.

The performances he put in whilst away with France it is easy to see that he’s eager to get going this season and con give a suspect United defence a real handful.

With him down the middle and Sanchez and Walcott either side of him, United could be in for a bad afternoon at Old Trafford.
