Although Manchester United are still without their top forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Red Devil fans here in the Tavern are confident their side can get the job done against West Brom.
The Swede will serve his final league game suspension this weekend as his side take on West Brom at Old Trafford.
Although absent, Ibrahimovic has been in the news this week as he hints that he will stay in Manchester after this summer.
United fans have responded in different ways to the news, some are happy to hear the announcement, whereas others wish that Jose Mourinho would of seeked out the likes of Romelu Lukaku to fill Zlatan’s place.
Regardless, the spotlight won’t be on Ibrahimovic when United take on the Baggies this weekend, so let’s take a look at the side Mourinho should field if United are to continue their unbeaten run in the league – according to our landlord…
GK: David De Gea

No surprises here, the Spaniard has played every minute of Manchester United’s league campaign this season, and our landlord is certain it will stay that way this weekend.
RB: Antonio Valencia

Arguably their best player this season, Valencia will accompany a full-back role this week due to the injuries in United’s defence.
CB: Daley Blind

This weekend will surely feature a rare start for the Dutchman Blind, mostly due to the absence of both Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
CB: Eric Bailly

Now back from international duty with Ivory Coast, our landlord reckons Mourinho will give a start to Eric Bailly to partner Blind.
LB: Ashley Young

Again, much like Valencia, Young has played in both attacking and defensive roles for United this season, left-back is therefore a position the 31-year-old has become accustomed to.
CDM: Marouane Fellaini

Suffering a toe injury last weekend forced the Belgian to side out of his international friendly against Russia, however Mourinho has reported this week he is confident Fellaini will be fit for this weekend.
CDM: Paul Pogba

It’s fair to say the spotlight has been on the Frenchman all season.
Although Pogba hasn’t got his name on the scoresheet has much as fans would like, in the grand scheme of things he has been a great asset for United this season.
RM: Juan Mata

Two goals and one assist in his last four games has been a reflection of Mata’s consistency all season.
The one player who those thought wouldn’t fit in under Mourinho has shone all season.
CAM: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

With Mourinho hesitant to play Wayne Rooney in behind United’s lone striker, our landlord has made a bold prediction and reckons the gaffer will take a punt and play the Armenian playmaker in this position.
ST: Marcus Rashford

Without a league goal since September, it is really make or break time for Marcus Rashford.
This is now his chance to live up to the hype he once had in his early days at Old Trafford.
