4-3-3: If Klopp fields this fluid Liverpool XI, they will absolutely batter Tottenham

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling pretty anxious ahead of their crunch clash with Tottenham this weekend…

After what has been a rollercoaster of a season so far, the Liverpool fans rarely know what to expect when going into a big game – but this game carries more uncertainty than most.

The Reds have been on a really poor run, with their 2-0 loss against Hull City the latest in a long line of disappointing performances.

It has been quite the fall, given that Jurgen Klopp’s side were touted for Premier League glory a few weeks ago – but such is the strength of the Premier League.

The games are showing no signs of getting easier for the Reds, either, with a crunch clash against Tottenham coming up this weekend.

Klopp will know he has a tough game on his hands, and only his best team will be able to get the job done.

With that said, if Klopp fields this fluid Liverpool XI, they will absolutely batter Tottenham…

GK – Simon Mignolet

Simon Mignolet, like Loris Karius, has had a tough season – but you would expect him to keep his place against the Lilywhites.

Another mistake could cost him, though.

LB – James Milner

The midfielder has made the left-back spot his own this season, and his fine form is continuing to impress in the Tavern.

Expect a solid performance.

 CB – Dejan Lovren

Dejan Lovren is looking good this season, and he should be fit to start.

A towering central defender, he will be vital against Harry Kane.

 CB – Joel Matip

With the defender now fully back into the fold after the AFCON drama, Matip is likely to start.

He has arguably been one of the best signings of the year when it comes to value for money.

 RB – Nathaniel Clyne

Nathaniel Clyne has come under some criticism this season, and much of it has been justified.

He is normally solid, but he needs to up his form.

 CM – Jordan Henderson

The captain of this team, Jordan Henderson has been a real pass master this season.

He needs to continue to lead this team effectively.

 CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum has been decent if not spectacular this season, and he needs to improve.

He has yet to justify his price tag.

 CM – Adam Lallana

Adam Lallana has been pulling all the strings this season, and the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that it will continue for some time.

LW – Sadio Mane

Back from AFCON just in time, Liverpool have really missed Mane.,

The winger needs to return Liverpool back to the top.

ST – Roberto Firmino

With Mane back, Firmino can return to the middle of the attack.

Though not a natural number 9, he has made the position his own this season.

RW – Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho is always vital for Liverpool, and he really needs to step up.

Klopp is counting on him.
