Such are the vast array of options to choose from in their squad, much has been discussed in regards to their potential starting lineup.
That being said, here’s what we’ve come up with, the Liverpool XI to SMASH Derby County in the EFL Cup.
GK: Loris Karius
Following his recovery from injury, Loris Karius’ long-awaited debut between the sticks can finally arrive in Derbyshire tomorrow night.
While Simon Mignolet hasn’t dropped too many clangers this term, the German has a chance to stake his claim.
RB: Nathaniel Clyne
Truly explosive and vital to Klopp’s plans, expect him to break behind enemy lines tomorrow night.
CB: Ragnar Klavan
Though the form of both Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip have kept him out of the side recently, Ragnar Klavan is likely to be handed a starting berth.
His tenacious and dogged defending will be key against a Championship side.
CB: Emre Can
While not a natural central defender, Emre Can has performed in a variety of positions for Liverpool during his two years on Merseyside.
Elegant on the ball, he’ll be tasked with starting attacks.
LB: Alberto Moreno
Dropped for an out of position James Milner of late, Alberto Moreno’s attacking enterprise could be handy against a Derby side likely to sit behind the ball.

On an all-round basis, Adam Lallana has perhaps been Liverpool’s best player this season.
Flourishing in his role as a roaming central midfielder, his touch of class on the ball will be one of the biggest threats to unlocking Derby’s defence.
RW: Sheyi Ojo
Reds fans may well clamour for the excellent Sadio Mane to start, though the Senegalese is in line for a rest.
