Jose has now started his new job at the helm of Manchester United, and everyone’s eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern are now on the Special One to see who his first signings will be at Old Trafford.
All the speculation around signings are concerning the big money signings, when will Zlatan arrive or will they manage to get Mkhitaryan away from Dortmund?

United have a tough season ahead and will need a squad with quality depth, players that can come into the side with a desire to prove themselves on one of the biggest stages in club football. Where better to find such players than your friendly North West neighbours, Liverpool?

Joe Gomez
Gomez had a brilliant start to the campaign before he was struck with an awful ACL injury, but is now ready to go again once he has a good pre-season under his belt.
It would be a big decision for Mourinho to throw Gomez straight into a Man United side, but given time to grow within the squad he could be an impressive centre-half for many seasons to come.
Jordon Ibe
A player who has shown great potential when given the chance to play in the first team at Anfield, but would need a lot of work to be a star at Old Trafford.
Since the end of last season it has seemed like Ibe has been trying to force a move elsewhere, so it should not be hard to get a deal arranged, however, he is a player that still needs a lot of attention to reach his potential.
Should Mourinho break character and decide to dedicate time to a youngster he could well be a star winger for United in years to come.
Ben Woodburn
Aged just 15 at the start of last season, Woodburn broke into the U18s setup early and has impressed ever since. According to local journalists Woodburn, now 16, is the one to watch at the Liverpool academy.
The young forward will be on United’s radar after he scored two against their U18 side earlier this season in a 3-0 for Liverpool, including a quite incredible overhead kick.
Bobby Adekayne
Liverpool signed the 17-year-old from Barcelona in July 2015, and he is deemed as an exciting prospect by everyone connected with the club.
It’s been a frustrating time at Liverpool so far for Adekayne with an injury marred season, however he remains a prospect nonetheless.
Despite having only been with Liverpool for a season the lure of working with Jose and his team may just take him away from Anfield.
