4 players Liverpool fans surely can’t wait to see the back of

Klopp-mania is still going strong in the Transfer Tavern and the Liverpool fans in here are still loving the German at the helm.

A new-look Anfield has completed the process and Liverpool really look like a team on the up. Sitting fourth in the league with things looking continually good, the Reds should be a real force this season and Champions League qualification really should be the bare minimum.

So with things going so swimmingly, is there anything at Anfield that actually needs changing? Our landlord thinks that there are a couple of players that aren’t quite pulling their weight and should be sent away from the club as soon as possible.

Klopp has a fantastic energy going about the place and if they are to sustain that going forward – something has to give.

So with that in mind, here’s 4 players Liverpool fans surely can’t wait to see the back of…

Alberto Moreno

The haircut isn’t helping him much and Alberto Moreno is surely a player that Liverpool fans will be looking forward to leaving in the very near future.

He’s been dropped after a bit of a horror performance against Arsenal back in August and if we’re being honest – not many people are expecting him to make a quick return.

Mamadou Sakho

Mamadou Sakho really isn’t a player that is going to get that feel-good factor buzzing around Anfield.

He’s been a real outcast after his actions on Liverpool’s pre-season tour and like Moreno, a return to the first team isn’t looking very likely at all.

The Frenchman would be better off looking for another club in the very near future because his play time at Anfield won’t extend past reserve team matches.

Adam Bogdan

You’ve got to feel a little sorry for former Bolton man Adam Bogdan, who has become somewhat synonymous with disasters in between the sticks.

He’s currently on-loan at Championship strugglers Wigan Athletic for the whole of the current campaign and like the other two in this list – he’s not going to come back into the Liverpool first-team fold anytime soon.

His career will be better served elsewhere.

Lazar Markovic

Injuries and poor form have very much been Lazar Markovic’s Liverpool downfall and now he’s on loan at Sporting Lisbon with few predicting a return to the first-team when he returns in May.

Many Reds supporters will hope he can find some form in Portugal but the fee that Liverpool paid for him isn’t going to be recouped when they do eventually come to sell him on.

This one might be a case of cutting your losses and looking elsewhere in the future.
