The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were pretty disappointed with their side’s performance against West Brom on Wednesday. They’ve been on a decent run of form in recent weeks, but inconsistency is still proving problematic, with Jurgen Klopp’s men now drawing their last two Premier League games.

Still, they are in a good position in the Premier League, and provided that they can start picking up wins more frequently, a steady rise up the table should follow.

Standing in their way, though, are Bournemouth, who are set to take on the Reds this weekend. Eddie Howe’s men have enjoyed a mixed start to the season too, and so a win for them is very important.

Klopp, then, must get his team selection right, as he’s going to be facing a very good Bournemouth team. The draw with West Brom showed a few things to the Reds in the Transfer Tavern, and so they’ve listed a few team changes that could be needed.

With that said, Klopp simply must drop these 2 Liverpool players against Bournemouth today…

 Dejan Lovren

Dejan Lovren, once again, wasn’t at his best against the Baggies.

He wasn’t terrible by any means, but he’s still got an air of uncertainty about his play, and that’s worrying for Liverpool. With Jermain Defoe quickly gathering pace and regaining his form, it wouldn’t be wise to leave anything to chance.

This might be the perfect chance for Joe Gomez to come into the centre of the defence. He’s played well on the flanks this term, and a move more central could make him even more efficient.

Lovren just isn’t reliable enough.

 Sadio Mane

Rated at £45 million by Transfer Markt, Sadio Mane has had a difficult couple of weeks.

He drew the ire of the fans in the Transfer Tavern when he failed to pass across to Dom Solanke against Everton, instead choosing to shoot despite the opportunity at hand, and his decision making was otherwise very poor too.

It was a similar tale against the Baggies, with his whole performance not being up to par.

A night off could be needed.
