It’s been quite a week for Chelsea supporters here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
The weekend saw Jose Mourinho’s men on the wrong end of one of, if not the, biggest FA Cup shocks in history with the Blues blowing a two goal lead at home to Bradford City and crashing to a humiliating 4-2 defeat.
Mourinho described the performance as ‘a disgrace’ which cranked up the pressure for Tuesday’s Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool.
The Blues edged that game 1-0 in extra time courtesy of a header from Branislav Ivanovic but the win came at a price with Diego Costa now missing three matches following his stamp on Liverpool’s Emre Can.
And things are not about to get any easier or any less dramatic as Manchester City arrive in West London for a clash that could see the Blues move eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
But still Mourinho wants more with last weekend’s clash proving the Blues are still short of being the finished article.
Here we have identified five players who may not be a part of Mourinho’s machine next season.

Mohamed Salah
Chelsea pipped Liverpool to the £11 million signing of Mohamed Salah last winter but it appeared as though the move was designed to stop a direct rival strengthening than adding to what Chelsea already had.
The young Egyptian has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and sits firmly behind the likes of Hazard, Willian, Oscar and even Schurrle in the Chelsea pecking order.
And with Juan Cuadrado expected to arrive shortly, Salah could even find himself out of Stamford Bridge before the end of the month.
Andre Schurrle
The German is a man who has a habit of popping up with important goals but that has not been enough to see him cement a place in Chelsea’s first team.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man is unlikely to want to play the role of super sub for the remainder of his career and according to reports today, he is all set to seal a transfer to Wolfsburg just like Kevin De Bruyne did last January.
Previously in the transfer window, some reports had suggested he could be offered in part exchange in a deal that would see Marco Reus move to Stamford Bridge.
Petr Cech
Having lost his first team place to Thibaut Courtois this season despite not putting a foot wrong for the best part of 10 years, you can understand if Petr Cech feels slightly aggrieved with life at Stamford Bridge.
Courtois has even said recently that he would not stay at the club if he were in the 32-year-old’s position and Cech has been linked with a January move to a club capable of offering the first team football he deserves.
Jose Mourinho has stated he will be going nowhere this month but staying beyond the end of this season seems highly unlikely.
Ramires
The Brazilian has been a key player for Chelsea for a number of years now but the arrival of Cesc Fabregas last summer as well as various injury problems have seen him pushed down the pecking order.
Reports have suggested Mourinho is in the market for another central midfielder to support both the Spaniard and Nemanja Matic whilst former boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to be keen on bringing Ramires to Real Madrid.
Despite Mourinho praising his performance against Liverpool in midweek, the lack of regular first team football will surely take it’s toll on Ramires by the end of the season.
Victor Moses
One of seemingly hundreds of Chelsea players out on loan at the moment, it remains a mystery as to why Chelsea paid Wigan Athletic £9 million for Victor Moses two and a half years ago.
The Nigerian spent an unsuccessful year on loan at Liverpool last season and is currently doing okay for Stoke City – on yet another season long loan.
Moses clearly has no future at Stamford Bridge so it will be no surprise to see him move to whichever club is willing to help Chelsea recoup some of that £9 million they spent in order to sign him from the Latics – for no apparent reason at all.
