The Leicester City supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been on cloud nine for the majority of the 2015/16 campaign and currently sit on the summit of the Premier League.
Whether or not they can stay in top spot will be largely down to who they can recruit during the rush of transfer deadline day and with several irons in the fire, it is anticipated that the club can do some business.
One Foxes fan is sat over by the pool table and is adamant that the club needs at least one striker and one central midfield player if they are to be considered strong enough to stay in pole position.
With several players heavily linked over the past few weeks, Claudio Ranieri will be very hopeful of doing something this Monday to appease the City faithful.

Dwight Gayle
With Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri desperately looking to bolster his attacking arsenal, he could turn to Crystal Palace striker Gayle.
The ex-Peterborough United player is way down the pecking order at Selhurst Park and boss Alan Pardew could be keen to offload.
Gayle has scored goals wherever he has been playing football but has struggled for game time for Palace since Pardew arrived from Newcastle United.
Gayle is unlikely to be right at the top of Leicester’s wish list but he would be a reasonable signing nonetheless.
Loic Remy
Chelsea striker Remy is rumoured to be Ranieri’s number one striking target for the mid-season transfer window and the club are hopeful that a deal can be wrapped up.
The Frenchman has struggled for game time since arriving at Chelsea and with the Blues securing the services of Alexandre Pato, the writing is seemingly on the wall for his time at Stamford Bridge.
Remy would represent a real coup for the East Midlands-based club and would be a statement of intent as the Foxes go in quest of their first Premier League title.
Jordan Rhodes
Whilst Rhodes has never played Premier League football his goal scoring record speaks for itself in the Championship.
With the striker’s move to Middlesbrough now dead in the water, Rhodes will either stay at Blackburn Rovers or move to another club.
Sunderland are reportedly also interested in signing the striker but the chance to move to a team challenging for the title would be one he could ill-afford to turn down.
Rhodes isn’t likely to be on Ranieri’s radar at the minute but desperation could force the boss’ hand somewhat.
Clement Chantome
The ex-PSG midfielder is high on Claudio Ranieri’s list of targets and a reported bid of around £2.5 million has been submitted for the midfielder.
Currently a Bordeaux player, Leicester are now waiting to find out if the Ligue 1 side will accept the Foxes advances or not.
With just five months remaining on Chantome’s current deal it is highly likely that the French outfit will be keen to sell.
The Foxes will face competition on deadline day from Belgian club Anderlecht for the player’s signature.
M’Baye Niang
Certain news sources have reported of late that Leicester City have turned their attentions for a striker towards AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang.
It is thought that the Foxes have bid around £12 million for the striker but do face competition from several other European clubs.
Leicester will now wait for an answer from the Italian giants and if the bid is accepted they will hope to get a deal over the line before the window closes.
A striker is a priority during this window and Niang would certainly represent a key signing ahead of the player’s best years.
