With Manchester United into the FA Cup final, our resident Reds supporters believe that the pressure is still on for manager Louis van Gaal.
Even if he wins the competition against Crystal Palace, many punters here in the Transfer Tavern still believe that he could face the axe at the end of the season, and be replaced by former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager has had an extremely successful career with a number of clubs, and is seen by many of the United fans in the Tavern as the best option to begin the rebuilding process at Old Trafford.
However, he is expected to need a fair amount of money to do this and recent reports indicate that he could receive around £300 million in order to begin his reparation job.

Renato Sanches

Heavily perceived as being one of the brightest young talents in European football, Renato Sanches has recently been subject to mass media speculation surrounding his future, with rumours suggesting he could be on his way to Old Trafford.
The 18-year old has an €80 million buyout clause in his current contract with Benfica, but the Ed Woodward might be prepare to splash the cash in order to construct the team that Mourinho wants.
Gareth Bale

Another player who has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford switch for some time now is Gareth Bale.
The Real Madrid winger has only recently returned to his top form and whilst Los Blancos are unlikely to want him to leave, they could be tempted should their former manager Mourinho be willing to shell out big money to acquire his services.
The Welshman has still managed 18 goals and 10 assists in the league this term and at just 26 years of age, he has plenty to offer in the coming years.
Neymar

Another massive La Liga star that the Reds could be interested in is Barcelona ace Neymar.
The Brazilian forward has been part of the lethal front line with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez this term, but reports indicate that Barcelona may be unable to offer all three new contracts due to financial constraints.
That could mean that the 24-year old, who has 23 goals and 10 assists in La Liga this season, could be tempted to leave in order to become the main man under Mourinho.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic

An additional possible attacking option for United this summer would be Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Currently at Ligue 1 champions Paris-Saint Germain, the Swede’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, leaving him available to join a new club on a free transfer.
However, any potential deal could be marred by the fact that the 34-year old reportedly wants 77 million a year for a move to China, having already rejected a 54 million a year contract, whilst United are said to be willing to be pay around 300,000 per week.
Mats Hummels

A possible defensive option for United is Borussia Dortmund centre back Mats Hummels.
The German has been linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams for several years, and now City and Liverpool are said to have entered the race for the 27-year-old.
However, with United desperate to sign a world class defender, they could be set to splash the cash on the German international in order to secure his services.
