It’s set to be a summer of change at Stamford Bridge this summer, and our regular Chelsea supporting punters cannot wait for the Conte revolution!
Belgian newspaper HLN is claiming Chelsea have been in contact with Everton for two of their players: Romelu Lukaku and John Stones.
Both sides have had a difficult 2015/16 with Chelsea putting in the worst title defence in Premier League history, and the Toffees seemingly going backwards under Roberto Martinez before the Spaniard’s sacking.
Chelsea will be hoping for vastly improved fortunes under the incoming Antonio Conte, and it’s widely expected that the Italian will have plenty of resources afforded to him to reshape his new squad.
Stones was the subject of a number of Chelsea bids last season which ultimately failed but after seeing the young defender’s career beginning to stall on Merseyside, with a number of high profile mistakes too, he may feel the tutelage of Antonio Conte would be too good to miss out on.
Meanwhile, despite Everton’s struggles, Lukaku has been in fine form this year and deserves to be playing at the very highest level, something Chelsea, regardless of this season, can offer more than the Goodison Park outfit.
These two could be the first of many Conte signings, but who might follow? Our landlord at the Transfer Tavern thinks these FIVE could soon be at Stamford Bridge……

Karim Benzema

The Frenchman needs no introduction and would almost certainly score 20+ goals in the Premier League if he were to sign for the Blues.
A strikeforce of Benzema and Diego Costa would frighten the life out of opposition defenders as well as returning Chelsea to the top 4.
The deal could be on as Real Madrid are always looking for the next big thing and Benzema’s position is under threat, given Cristiano Ronaldo’s increasing tendency to start as an out and out striker.
Kwadwo Asamoah

Asamoah plays predominantly on the left side of midfield and would provide some competition for Eden Hazard, who has been allowed to stroll through this season without being challenged by those around him.
The Ghanaian can also operate in central midfield and at left back if needed, and would enjoy linking up with Antonio Conte given that he has seen playing time limited at Juventus this year.
Lucas Lima

Lucas Lima could be the latest Brazilian at Stamford Bridge, following in the footsteps of the likes of Oscar and Willian.
The 25- year-old from Santos is an attacking midfielder but is suitably adept at playing down the right or left wing, and would therefore fit Chelsea’s playing style perfectly.
He has made seven appearances for the Brazilian national side, scoring once and will surely move to Europe in the near future.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Mkhitaryan has been linked with the Premier League before with a move to Liverpool looking on the cards before the Armenian moved to Borussia Dortmund.
The former Shakhtar man has been in scintillating form this season scoring 23 goals and providing an astonishing 32 assists in all competitions, and would obviously command a big transfer fee, one that only the likes of Chelsea could afford.
Antonio Rudiger

The German Rudiger has been a permanent fixture for Serie A giants Roma this season as they qualified for the Champions League once more.
The centre half is 23 years old and so is approaching his prime and with Chelsea’s defence set for a major overhaul, he could be one of those in Conte’s new look back-four. Rudiger will travel to EURO 2016 with the German national side for whom he has made nine appearances.
