Zlatan Ibrahimovic
The controversial Sweden international will become a free agent during the summer and a move to Manchester United looks to be on the cards.
The target man has scored goals wherever he has played throughout his career and boasts some of the biggest clubs in Europe upon his CV.
One blemish so far however is that he has never proved himself in the English Premier League and it is likely Zlatan will want to nip that in the bud, before his career draws to a close.
The player’s hefty wage demands are likely to put United at the front of the queue when it comes to the clubs who can realistically afford to sign him.
Sergio Ramos
United have tried to sign the Real Madrid defender on several occasions previously but have seen their attempts thwarted.
With the Spain international not getting any younger the club may look to offload him during the summer, which would naturally alert United towards his availability.
The defender has been sent off 20 times during his career which has seen him play the majority of it with Madrid, but his ill discipline is unlikely to put the Premier League club off.
A solid defender nonetheless and with United looking to strengthen at the back, a move could be on the cards.
N’Golo Kante
The Leicester City midfielder has been a revelation since arriving from Caen in the summer but unfortunately for the Foxes faithful, keeping hold of him could prove to be a problem.
A reported clause in the Frenchman’s contract could see him hold talks with other clubs during the summer transfer window and United could well join the queue.
Kante has been inspirational in midfield for the Foxes during the current campaign and he has been one of the Premier League’s top performers.
United will lose Michael Carrick during the summer and with a desire to bolster their midfield, Kante could become a primary target.
Renato Sanches
The Benfica winger looks destined to join Manchester United during the summer.
The 18-year-old has only played 23 games for the Portuguese giants but already looks to have tempted United into a purchase, in a move which must be labelled as a gamble.
United are desperate to bolster their attacking positions and out wide is no exception, with striker Anthony Martial often filling that void during the current campaign.
Sanches is one for the future and despite his tender years he has already played for the Portugal national team on two occasions.
Gonzalo Higuain
The ex-Real Madrid striker is another player who looks sure to play for a Premier League club at some point during his career, having failed to do so just yet.
The Argentine has a solid record in front of goal and should he leave Napoli, the Serie A side will really struggle to sign a player who can replicate his goal tally.
Another player who is likely to demand a huge wage which makes a move to United seem like a viable option, given their financial muscle.
United could do with another striker and Higuain could be just the man for the job.
