Manchester United have joined the hunt for Italian youngster Daniele Rugani, battling Arsenal and Napoli for the player’s signature, as the Red Devils look to bolster their back-line by bringing the highly-rated defender to the Premier League.
With Juventus reluctant to give the 20-year-old the first-team chances he wants, with the player making just one appearance this season that came off the bench in the 89th minutes of a Champions League tie, Rugani is seeking an exit in January- which gives United a huge boost.
Lucas Biglia
Lucas Biglia is a name Manchester United fans will be extremely familiar with after numerous years being linked with the Argentine, although so far their attention has been to no prevail. However, it seems the player could leave Italy in January.
Real Madrid have joined the chase, and are favourites for the player’s signature having offered to double his wages, but United could still lure the player to Old Trafford- especially as Louis Van Gaal has held interest in the South American throughout his time in charge in Manchester.
Charley Musonda
Manchester United are seen as the favourites to secure the services of Chelsea ace Charley Musonda, who wants to leave Stamford Bridge after not being given the first-team opportunities he was given before the season began. With Chelsea suffering, those chances aren’t likely to emerge in the second-half of the campaign.
Therefore, Musonda is set to become the latest in a long-line of young players who became disillusioned in West London after continuously being overlooked and Chelsea’s loss could be United’s gain, although they face competition from Arsenal for his signature.

Emerging Leeds United star Lewis Cook has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with the Red Devils set to take advantage of their great-rivals talent once again. They’ve used the struggling Yorkshire side as a feed club in the past and history looks set to repeat itself.
18-year-old Cook may join the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Eric Cantona by swapping Elland Road for Old Trafford, although United can expect fierce competition in the race for the player’s signature with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all keen.
Neymar
Neymar remains the pipe dream for many Manchester United fans but if the tabloids are to be believed then the Red Devils have a big chance of securing the Brazilian’s signature, with the latest reports suggesting Louis Van Gaal’s side have offered a whopping £14m a season to the South American star.
Barcelona, undoubtably, would not want to sell and if Neymar was to leave Catalonia it would most likely be in the summer. However, the Spanish side are still confident he will pen a new deal with his current employers and secure his long-term future.
