Felipe Anderson
The saga concerning the Brazilian midfielder has more twists and turns that a popular ride at Thorpe Park but Manchester United’s interest in the Lazio man still remains, with a major boost coming this week as Felipe Anderson admitted he could leave Italian football.
With United wanting creative midfielders to bolster their attack, the addition of Anderson would go down well. However, the asking price is a huge stumbling block and United will raise eyebrows if they agree to pay Lazio’s hefty demands.
Andre Gomes
The Valencia star is reportedly part of a double-deal being engineered by super agent Jorge Mendes, who is looking to bring Andre Gomes to Manchester United along with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho- in what would be a significant double-deal.
Whether United are actually keen on this deal remains to be seen but they may have to move quickly, as Juventus are keeping tabs on the star managed by United legend Gary Neville. Valencia are struggling this season, and look set to miss out on European competition, so an exit for Gomes makes sense.

Realistically, this is a pipe-dream for Manchester United but recent reports in Spain have stated Manchester United are ‘crazy’ about the Bayern Munich hitman- who many consider to be the best striker in world football right now.
To tempt Bayern Munich into a sale would take a small fortune and Bayern aren’t short on cash, so they probably wouldn’t agree to a sale anyway- particularly with the season midway through and Bayern looking to win the Champions League this term.
Still, this is football and anything could happen- particularly if you throw United’s millions into the mix.
Riyad Mahrez
Leicester City are adamant that their star players will not be sold this month but that hasn’t put off potential suitors, with Manchester United still keeping close eyes on the Algerian ace that has torn the Premier League apart this season.
Many would be surprised to see Mahrez jump ship midway through the current campaign and it would disappoint a number of people around the bar, who are keen to see what Leicester can achieve if they continue their ferocious charge this season.
Money talks though and United’s deep pockets could have the final say, with Mahrez likely to become a star at Old Trafford.

A new name emerging on Manchester United’s shortlist in Lille ace Sofiane Boufal, who United have stolen a march on in the race for his signature- leaving Liverpool trailing in their wake and looking extremely frustrated.
