Here in The Transfer Tavern we are discussing England’s chances in the upcoming friendlies against Spain and France that take place over the next seven days.
During these discussions points have been raised about who is going to get the goals, the best defensive partnership, which midfielders should start together centrally, and which strikers should lead the line.
We all know the likes of Hart, Cahill, Rooney, and Henderson are almost certain to be picked for Euro 2016 next summer.
But is the time right in the friendly games leading up to the big finals next summer for manager Roy Hodgson to take a look at some untested talent at international level.
The talks have been long and hard about who deserves a chance of breaking into the squad, and although all our views will differ we have reached a compromise on five names which we think Roy Hodgson should give a chance to leading into Euro 2016.

Aaron Cresswell
The West Ham United defender has been a revelation for Slaven Bilic’s side in their impressive start to their Premier League campaign.
The 25-year-old would add pace and power to England’s backbone and many West Ham fans believe he deserves the chance to shine at international level.
Cresswell has made over 270 appearances at club level with spells at Tranmere Rovers and Ipswich Town before his move to the Boleyn ground for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2014.
With Leighton Baines likely to be the first choice left back for England, Cresswell will have a fight on his hands to gain an England place, but we feel he deserves s chance to show what he has to offer.
Nathan Redmond
The Norwich City midfielder has learnt a reputation as an out an out winger not afraid to take anyone on.
The 21-year-old is already a regular for the nation’s Under-21 side and a key member of Alex Neill’s squad so far in Norwich’s Premier League campaign.
He is capable of playing on either wing and could be a great option for Roy Hodgson should the likes of Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain suffer from injury.
Should he be selected for England would be a great addition as a substitute ti bring on with 20 minutes or so remaining, as he would cause a tiring defence problems.
Mark Noble
Another West Ham United player to add to the least of deserved players for a call up. The midfielder who has spent his entire career at West Ham is a combative midfielder with the capability of getting goals for the side.
The 28-year-old must be feeling that he is never going to get the chance to represent his country, but one man who surely deserves a chance to show what he has to offer his country.
He has represented England at all youth levels throughout his career, but that one full cap has always eluded the popular midfielder whose commitment and leadership qualities would only add to the experience in Roy Hodgson’s squad.
Jesse Lingard
The 22-year-old Lingaed plays his trade with Manchester United, a winger by position, the youngster could also fill in and do an able job in behind the main striker.
Lingard has finally broken into the Manchester United side this season, and capped a couple of fine performances with a goal against West Bromwich Albion last Saturday.
Another who has played an important role for Gareth Southgate’s Under-21 side making 11 caps respectively.
Loan spells away in the Championship at Birmingham City, Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Derby County have been a good test for the player, who now has the physical strength to cut it at the top level of the game.
Nathaniel Chalobah
20-year-old Chalobah is definitely one for the future, his slick play from midfield has won him admirers from around the country after impressive loan spells at Championship sides Watford, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Burnley, and Reading.
Yet to make an appearance at Chelsea the youngster has kept his head down and vowed to make his long awaited debut for Chelsea in the future.
Chalobah is currently on loan in Serie A getting his first taste of top flight European football.
Tall, athletic and can operate in either midfield or defence, being notably quick in the tackle he would be an asset to the England side one day in the near future.
