Fierce London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have some extremely passionate supporters, many of which can be regularly found winding each other up here in the Transfer Tavern.
Many weekends are often spent taking the biscuit out of each other over a few cold pints of the landlord’s best lager during their respective matches, which are usually shown on the Tavern’s big screen.
It is Tottenham who have enjoyed the lion share of those bragging rights this season as they currently look on course to take part in the closest run title race in recent years, whilst Chelsea languish down in mid-table.
The Blues look set to spend big in the summer and our writer Lee Clarke took a look towards FIVE Spurs players that the Stamford Bridge-based outfit should seriously consider signing in the summer.

Toby Alderweireld
The Tottenham Hotspur defender has excelled during his first season at White Hart Lane and looks destined for a great career.
Spurs will be desperate to keep him and securing Champions League football will certainly help, but it is highly likely that Europe’s top clubs will come sniffing around at some point.
Chelsea could be one of those clubs as they look to replace outgoing skipper John Terry and the Belgian could be high on their list of targets for the summer.
The 26-year-old has formed a formidable partnership with his fellow compatriot Jan Vertonghen and after such a superb first season with Spurs, it is unlikely he will want to leave.
Danny Rose
The left-back has really upped his game this season and is fast becoming the most improved player at White Hart Lane.
His performance in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City was sensational, leading to many media outlets naming him as their man of the match.
At just 25-years-old Rose has many years left ahead of him and with Chelsea light on defenders they could do a lot worse than purse the Spurs defender.
A modern-day left-back, Rose loves to bomb forward but never forgets his defensive duties making him a solid acquisition should Chelsea look to sign him.
Harry Kane
It is hard to imagine Chelsea having the wealth to afford Kane and it is equally unthinkable that Spurs would consider selling to a fellow London-based club.
Kane burst onto the scene last season and has picked up his fine form during the current campaign to fire Spurs into a title race.
The 22-year-old is destined for big things and although Spurs are very much ‘his’ club, it is unlikely he will stay at White Hart Lane for the duration of his career.
Chelsea will probably flog Diego Costa in the summer and a big money bid for Kane wouldn’t be the silliest idea that Roman Abramovich has ever had.
Erik Lamela
After a fairly poor start to life in English football the Argentinean playmaker has started to show fans of the Premier League exactly what he is all about this season.
The 23-year-old is capable of playing on the wing or in a number ten role, meaning that he would add versatility for Chelsea in the final third, should they consider a bid.
Lamela showed his improvement during Sunday’s win at Manchester City by coming off the bench to set up the match-winning chance for Christian Eriksen, with a defence splitting ball.
Has many years left ahead of him, and I would imagine that Lamela is a player that Spurs would realistically consider selling, should the right offer be made.
Eric Dier
Englishman Dier learnt his trade in the youth academy at Sporting Lisbon and played 26 times for the first-team, before signing for Spurs at the start of last season.
He has developed into a fine defensive midfielder this season and has been rewarded with two caps for the England national team.
It is likely that Chelsea will look to offload both Jon Obi Mikel and Nemanja Matic at the end of this season, which will leave them with a huge void in front of the back four.
Dier has a massive future ahead of him and on current form he looks a certainty to start for England during the Euro’s in France this summer.
