If you’re a Celtic supporter in the Transfer Tavern right now, it’s fair to say you’ve got every right to be on top of the world after this weekend’s stonking derby-day win.
Brendan Rodgers’ side really put Rangers to the sword, in what was a harsh reintroduction back into the top flight for Mark Warbuton’s men.
But the Hoops won’t care a jot – if anything, it’s only gone to enhance the Celtic dominance that we’re used to seeing in Scottish football.
Even the landlord here at the Transfer Tavern is tipping the Bhoys to do well and with a huge game at the Nou Camp on Tuesday evening against a Barca side that lost this weekend, there is real optimism Celtic might pick up a result.

If we’re being honest, one thing we always expect after an Old Firm is a bit of tension.
But obviously up in Scotland, things can get pretty heated, pretty quickly and this tweet suggests that after the Celtic Rangers tie, this lass’s family celebrated the result with a good ol’ fashioned fist fight.

It’s fair to say that after his shocking performance against the Lincoln Red Imps in that famous defeat in Gibraltar, it’s been hard for Celtic fans to come to forgive Efe Ambrose.

A personal favourite of mine here, “#Thatsnotaknife was a hashtag that began to trend in the build up to Celtic’s Europa League tie against Turkish giants Fenerbahce last season.
After a Turkish fan posted a picture of herself on social media with what can only be described as a hunting blade, Celtic fans responded in the only way they know how. With a bit of sarcastic humour.

If you haven’t seen the Twitter page Deluded Brendan, where have you been?
It’s a parody account that was made during the Welshman’s turbulent time at Liverpool but as expected, it was quickly turned White and Green when Rodgers moved north to Celtic.
We like this pretty recent tweet and we agree Brendan, it’s going to be a walk in the park on Tuesday. Against the European Champions. At the Nou Camp. Yeah.

This tweet tickled us- it’s all about Hoops’ fans love of bringing flags into their stadium that aren’t Scotland or Celtic ones.
We saw a giant Ireland (Or was it the Ivory Coast?) flag in the game against Rangers and hundreds of Palestine flags in the game against Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
We reckon you might want to stick to the Green and White colours lads.

Signing players can be a long, laborious process and we all know the heat of transfer deadline day. Trying to get those last minute deals and paperwork in before the 11pm deadline- it’s tough stuff.
But somehow, Celtic did a great job of signing and registering Scott Sinclair on a day that the SFA offices weren’t actually open.
Perhaps they do a home delivery service now!
3. Lee Wallace: The grass

Unfortunately for Rangers’ Lee Wallace, he’s been the butt of a social media storm and it’s just stuck.
After the cup final last season, it’s thought Wallace might or might not have told the ref he had been assaulted by a Hibs fan, with the official then calling him “a grass”.
It’s quite obviously fake but from here on in, Wallace is known as a grass all over Scotland.

If there’s one thing Celtic fans hate more than Rangers, it’s probably Joey Barton.
For poor Joey, controversy seems to have followed him everywhere throughout his career and when he posted an apology after a pretty gutless performance earlier this month, you can’t help but smile at the Celtic response…

Love him or loathe him, Scott Brown is a massive part of this Celtic set-up.
So when deluded Brendan thought it would be a great idea to bring Stevie G to partner Brown in the middle of the park, Twitter went into absolute meltdown.
