It was a night to forget for Jose Mourinho and his side, as Manchester United collapsed to a 1-0 defeat in their opening Europa League group game against Feyenoord.
Mourinho made 8 changes to the side that lost to Manchester City at the weekend, bringing in the likes of young Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata.
However the changes didn’t pay dividends as United struggle to create opportunities, with Anthony Martial wasting the only real chance of the first half.
A triple substitution in the 63rd minute which introduced Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Memphis Depay and Ashley Young also failed to make an impact, with the former of the trio heading wide shortly after his introduction.
Feyenoord’s Tony Vilhena made the visitors pay when he drove home Nicolai Jorgensen’s cross, to condemn the Red Devils to their fourth consecutive defeat in European away games.
