‘A big yes from me’ - Plenty of Wolves fans on Twitter are urging club to seal forward coup

The Wolves fans in the Transfer Tavern have been urging their club to make a move for Liverpool’s departing striker, Danny Ings. The 25-year-old Englishman has decided to leave Anfield this summer as he targets more first-team football next this upcoming season.

This is where Wolverhampton Wanderers come in. The club won the Championship last season and will be back enjoying Premier League football with a new look side, thanks to the help of Jorge Mendes. This summer has already started well for the Molineux faithful as they’ve secured the signing of Portugal’s number one, Rui Patricio, who was part of the side that won Euro 2016.

Now though, the club will be looking at some big name forwards as they hope to continue their positive business in the transfer market. The fans themselves have been suggesting some names such as Jack Wilshere and Yacine Brahimi to bolster their midfield and attack, however, a name that has also come up and would be more realistic is Danny Ings. The former Burnley striker would suit Wolves and would be guaranteed first-team football with a side that creates a lot of chances playing good football, which is just what he needs.
