The Baggies in the Transfer Tavern have been struggling to stay positive lately, as they sit rock bottom of the Premier League and a whopping seven points off of 19th place. However, Alan Pardew’s side host Leicester City at the Hawthorns tomorrow and Pardew confirmed that Hal Robson-Kanu is back and available for the game.

The news prompted a number of sarcastic responses from the Baggies who have been propping our bar up. The fans were surprised to see the return of Kanu described as “a bonus” as the player has only managed two goals in his 16 appearances for the club in Premier League this season. Kanu signed for the Baggies under Tony Pulis back in summer 2016 on the back of a very successful Euro 2016 with Wales.
This season has been a disaster for Robson-Kanu and West Brom as the club have only managed three wins in their 29 games in the league, with two of those coming in their first two games of the season. A desperate lack of goals has plagued our resident Baggies, as the fans have only seen their club notch an abysmal 22 goals so far. Kanu will be hoping he can add to his and West Brom’s goal tally and prove the fans wrong as he tries to drag his club out of the relegation zone in the coming weeks.
