Jose Mourinho has certainly not kept quiet in the transfer window and the fans in the Tavern are joyfully pleased that about. With not long to go, the Red Devils should remain active in the recruitment department.
Two of Manchester United’s three acquisitions this summer have definitely hit the ground running with Nemanja Matic suitably fitting into Mourinho’s midfield, whilst striker Romelu Lukaku has already racked up his Premier League goal tally.
Hitting the net will surely not be a problem for the team, it’ll be whether or not they can keep the goals out – a major problem from last year’s performances – and the Tavern’s landlord has suggested the back line still needs reinforcements.
Eric Bailly looks to have continued his fine form after an injury plagued initial twelve months at Old Trafford but could wisely do with a high calibre partner to slot nicely into the back four.
Saying that, there are only a few days to go so Manchester United must consider swooping in for these TWO players at the very last minute…..
Kalidou Koulibaly

Kalidou Koulibaly has been a regular centre-back in the Italian Serie A since joining Napoli from Belgian outfit Genk three years ago, and has progressively showcased his defensive attributes.
Fans by the bar have discussed whether the Senegal international would fit into Jose Mourinho’s plans but with a number of clubs across the continent reportedly keen in the defender’s services, then there is no reason why Manchester United shouldn’t be.
Koulibaly has proven his ability in Italy and it is now time for him to test his worth in the Premier League, however, it would be United who benefit most as they’ll certainly solidify their defence.
Danny Rose

The United-supporting bar man doesn’t think Jose Mourinho’s team needs an additional left-back, however, the outburst of Danny Rose at Tottenham Hotspur may just alter the manager’s plans.
There is no doubt that the 27-year-old is one of the best players for his position in the top-flight and if he is up for sale then it would be idiotic for Manchester United to not at least register their interest.
Although the window has just days remaining, Mourinho is eager to bolster his wide options so he will need to wrap up a deal pretty quickly with deadline day looming.
Manchester United fans, what do you make of these two players? Should the club make a last minute swoop for them? Are they necessary or just luxuries to have in the squad? Tell us your opinions in the comment section below!
