Many AC Milan fans have been left frustrated by their club’s 3-1 loss against Fiorentina on Sunday and are taking it out on Marco Giampaolo.
Goals from Erick Pulgar, Gaetano Castrovilli and Franck Ribery meant that Rafael Leao’s 80th-minute strike was merely a consolation, as per WhoScored.
Giampaolo offered some words after the game, which Milan’s Twitter account has shared:
The coach reflected on the home defeat to Fiorentina.

There weren’t many fans who took much solace from the manager’s thoughts, with the main thing on their mind being to get him out of the club.
This result means Milan have just 6 points from 6 games, which means they remain in the bottom half of the table, which is deemed nowhere near good enough for a club of Milan’s calibre.
In turn, there are many fans who want change, with Giampaolo seemingly the man who needs to leave for that to come to fruition.
A selection of Twitter reaction to his words, including posts from angered Milan fans, can be seen below:

I can’t ever remember seeing such a bad Milan team in my life. Worst manager in the clubs history #GiampaoloOut
