AC Milan: Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier could cost around £13m

AC Milan will have to pay €15m [£13.3m] if they want to sign Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier, according to Calciomercato.

The Ivory Coast international has admitted that he was open to leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the summer, so it seems as though if a side comes in with the needed offer they could secure his signature.

Aurier has played two Premier League games this season, getting one assist, as per WhoScored, while he also played the ball that led to Patrick van Aanholt’s own goal, as well as finding the back of the net against Leicester City with a strike that was disallowed through no fault of his own.

In addition, the 26-year-old has made 1.5 tackles, 3.5 interceptions and 1 clearance per game, while completing 83% of his attempted passes, as well as making 2 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per game.

However, he was left out of the 2-2 Champions League draw against Olympiacos, which indicates that he may not have fully secured the right-back position as his own.

If Milan are able to get a player who has been this effective when on the pitch for a price of £13m, then it would certainly be a good deal for them.

It does seem like a cheap price for Spurs to sell Aurier at, especially as his contract doesn’t come to an end until the summer of 2022, as per Transfermarkt.
