Wolves: Fans want to see Adama Traore start after the international break

Wolves supporters have been pleading with manager Nuno Espirito Santo to start Adama Traore following the conclusion of the international break.

The 24-year-old has not seen much action during the 2020/21 campaign despite playing a huge part last season in both the league and in the Europa League (via Whoscored).

Traore, who recently picked up his first three caps for Spain, has only started three games in the Premier League this season with Wolves sitting in ninth place, having scored just eight goals (via BBC Sport).

The Spaniard’s improvement as a player was hailed by former Arsenal defender Martin Keown, who described him as the “Lewis Hamilton” of football after he was “like a learner driving a Ferrari” (via talkSPORT).

With this in mind, supporters were keen to see Traore get more minutes in the gold and black shirt after scoring six goals and providing 12 assists last season (TransferMarkt).
