Agent Giovani Becali Confirms Transfer Talks

Arsenal’s interest in Udinese striker Gabriel Torje has been confirmed by the player’s agent.

The Romanian international only joined the Serie A outfit during the summer from Dinamo Bucharest, but Arsene Wenger is said to be impressed with the 22-year-old.

Torje’s agent, Giovani Becali, recently told Calciomercato:

‘Yes, it’s true Arsenal like him.’

‘There’s nothing official. We can say that there have been talks, even when the player does not move.’

Despite his advanced position on the pitch, Torje has scored just once for Udinese this season.
