To everybody other than the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern, the recent news Joey Barton has already been involved in a fallout has come as little surprise to other punters.

Always likely to be a toxic mix, the 34-year-old is reported to have been ordered away from training until Monday after falling out with Andy Halliday.

He is understood to have been left out of the squad to play Ross County on the weekend, with cracks emerging already.

Having always carried a reputation as a controversial figure, the former Manchester City and Newcastle man is seemingly reverting back to old ways.

As you can well imagine, the Celtic fans on Twitter are having a field day over the one-cap England international.
