Martial is yet to score or assist in six games in total over all competitions so far this season (Transfermarkt), and with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, alongside the likes of Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood who can play up top, now may be the best time to cash in on him.
At 25 years of age, the striker will still hold a good market value as well, and that money from his sale could then be reinvested to strengthen other areas of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
