The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are loving life under Brendan Rodgers this season.
Celtic have continued their record-breaking unbeaten run under Rodgers this season, with 11 victories and 4 draws from their opening 15 matches. Consequently, they have stormed a march at the top of the Scottish Premiership and lead by 7 points over 2nd placed Rangers with a game in hand over their Glaswegian rivals.
However, considering the acrimonious managerial situation at Rangers, the Celtic supporters will be hoping their side can kick on and extend their lead at the top of the table in the coming weeks.
Rangers have been without a permanent manager since they dismissed Pedro Caixinha at the end of October.
Graeme Murty has undertaken temporary responsibility as manager of the club whilst the hierarchy identify an ideal replacement for Caixinha.
After weeks of speculation, they finally made an approach for Aberdeen’s manager Derek McInnes earlier this week, but their approach proved to be unsuccessful.
In response to the news, former Celtic hero Chris Sutton posted a tweet asking for the thoughts of his followers on Twitter regarding the managerial situation at Rangers.
.@btsportfootball McInnes to stay at Aberdeen… Great news for Aberdeen! Another shambolic situation at Rangers??? Your thoughts??

And The Hoops have turned out in full force to revel in the misery of their local rivals, and they certainly didn’t hold back in their criticism of the club’s current situation.
Here’s what the Celtic fans had to say in response to Sutton’s tweet..
Sevco are a laughing stock Chris. About time the media told the truth about this joke of a club

How much do you apportion any blame to Derek McInnes for situation at Rangers? Rangers must have received encouragement from him or his rep to maintain pursuit.

Chris this really is a total embarrassment for them but great news for Aberdeen. But for them the Caravan keeps moving and the dog keeps barking

Shambles for Aberdeen. Stuck with a manager who is out of ideas, made awful summer signings, bottles big games and doesn't want to be here by all accounts.
