Arsenal: Fans believe Unai Emery will do well at Everton after links

Arsenal fans believe Unai Emery can do well at Everton after the former Gunners manager was linked with the job in Merseyside.

According to Sky Sports, Emery was approached by the struggling Premier League side over their permanent manager’s job.

It is being reported by the British publication that the two parties held a meeting in London, though the Basque-born manager is said to want time to think about his next move.

Emery wants to improve his English as he believes England, as well as Spain and Italy, are realistic options for his next job.

The Spaniard was sacked by the north London side just over a week ago after overseeing a run of no wins in his last seven games (via BBC).

Emery seemed to be a popular figure at the Emirates Stadium with the first-team players reportedly going to his office to wish him well following his sacking (via The Athletic)

Fans were in agreement that Emery would do well at Everton as they took to Twitter to react to the news.
