Arsenal fans are bemoaning the latest update given by David Ornstein on the future of Granit Xhaka.
According to the journalist from The Athletic, the club is looking to integrate the £36m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, Swiss midfielder back into the squad with plans to introduce him in an away game. It is thought the club believes the side is suffering without the 27-year-old, with Ornstein suggesting that he could still have a future at the club.

Xhaka isn’t exactly a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium after his emotional reaction to being heckled and booed when he was substituted in the game against Crystal Palace.
His future was in doubt after he was stripped of the captaincy with The Times claiming a January exit from the club is a possibility.
Fans weren’t happy with the update from the former BBC man as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from Gooners:

…as well as giving away dangerous free kicks and penalties. And possession. But sure he understands the tactics.

Mental, hes one player who is always out of position, can not pass and has zero leadership skills. Not to mention, disrespected the club and the fans big time. If he plays again, I’ll have lost 100% faith in everyone at the top of the club.
