Arsenal fans are blasting the club after they released a video with Hector Bellerin asking the fans to be united ahead of the game against Southampton.
The cry for unity comes amid heightened tension between the Emirates Stadium faithful and Granit Xhaka after the incident against Crystal Palace.
It’s not the first time there have been calls from the members of the club for everyone to be united. Following the episode against the Eagles, Bellerin released an Instagram post calling for unity, meanwhile, centre-back Calum Chambers has also called for togetherness during an interview.
Divide has become the norm in north London and was prevalent when Arsene Wenger was manager, with one half of the fanbase advocating for the Frenchman to stay and the other half calling for him to leave (via The Telegraph).
The video pleading for unity has been blasted by fans as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:

Feel like Heccy is the one being shoved infront of the camera everytime you try and distract us from on the pitch antics at the minute, if you’re gonna hang him out to dry like this you really should’ve thought about making him captain

Unity, or the lack of it, has nothing to do with how bad we’ve been since April. Nice try though.
