Arsenal: Fans do not want Jose Mourinho as their next manager

Arsenal supporters have disregarded any possibility of welcoming the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho taking the reins at the Emirates Stadium.

The ‘Special One’ was pictured in attendance during Arsenal’s 3-2 win against Vitoria in the Europa League, sparking rumours that the Portuguese coach would be open to a move to the Gunners.

A report from El Chiringuito revealed that Arsenal would be open to appointing Mourinho as the pressure on current boss Unai Emery increases. Indeed, the Sun suggested he could be open to the job should it become available.

Mourinho, 56, has won 25 major honours since he became a manager in 2000 and is out of work after being sacked by Manchester United last season.

Despite Mourinho being regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time, supporters were not prepared to welcome him to Emirates in any aspect and made their feelings clear on social media.

The Portuguese coach was the first manager to spend more than £1bn on transfers and learnt his trade as an interpreter for the late Sir Bobby Robson.
