Arsenal fans are elated after the two bits of news concerning central defender Shkodran Mustafi emerged.
According to Turkish Football, the Gunners have offered Turkish outfit Galatasaray, through intermediaries, the chance to sign the player.
However, it is also being reported the reigning Super Lig champions can only afford the Germany international on a six to 18-month loan deal.
Manager Fatih Terim and the club’s board will reportedly sit down and hold a meeting to discuss the latest developments and whether they will make a formal offer.
It was also revealed that Mustafi has signed with a new agent with the company SBE Management.
Mustafi seems to have been cast aside this campaign having featured just 10 times across all competitions. He has been left out of the squad for 18 of the north London giants’ 30 games this season (via Transfermarkt).
