Arsenal fans were enjoying a breakdown suffered by Danny Murphy over elements of Granit Xhaka’s performance in the 1-0 win over Leeds United.
The Swiss midfielder managed to go throughout the entire 90 minutes without picking up a yellow card, despite having committed the second-most fouls of any player on the pitch (4) (via WhoScored).
During his co-commentary of the FA Cup third-round tie, Murphy took a swipe at referee Anthony Taylor for his inability to book the 27-year-old (BBC via football.london).
However, it wasn’t just the former Tottenham Hotspur man who was bemused with many including Leeds fans, ex-players and even an ex-referee.
Matt Le Tissier joined Murphy in hitting out at the decision not to award a yellow card to the Switzerland international during the game as he took to Twitter to react.
Fans were enjoying the breakdown Murphy suffered live on BBC on Xhaka as they took to the social media website to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:

I think the degree to which Granit Xhaka infuriated Danny Murphy might be the thing that solidifies his return to favour among the Arsenal fans.
Beautiful.

Anthony Taylor is definitely listening to BBC commentary through an earpiece and is refusing to book Xhaka to see if he can make Danny Murphy cry
