Arsenal fans have been left excited after Lucas Torreira posted an image of himself in one of the club’s old school shirt.
The diminutive midfielder posted an image alongside a friend wishing his followers on Twitter a merry Christmas while wearing the club’s re-released 1991 ‘bruised banana’ away kit.
Torreira has been linked with a move away from the club with reports from Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato) suggesting that Serie A club Napoli are lining up a move in the January transfer window.
The Uruguayan international has enjoyed a more prominent role in the starting line up in recent months, having started seven of the last eight Premier League games (via Transfermarkt).
Fans were left feeling elated after the midfielder posted an image of himself in the re-released away jersey as they took to Twitter to react.
