Arsenal: Fans flock to club tweet about Bacary Sagna

Many Arsenal fans have been reacting to a tweet from the north London club’s official Twitter page about their former ace Bacary Sagna after he featured on the latest episode of the podcast ‘In Lockdown‘.

In the episode, the ex-French international talked about his time with the Gunners and went into detail on: going for the Premier League title in the 2007/08 and 2010/11 seasons, coping with the loss of his brother, winning the Emirates FA Cup against Hull City 3-2 in the final at Wembley Stadium back in 2014 as well as other subjects.

Indeed, the 37-year old had a relatively impressive career for the AFC faithful, making 284 appearances in all competitions across seven different campaigns during his time in north London, scoring five goals and producing 27 assists, according to Transfermarkt.

However, the right-back did move on to rivals in the top flight Manchester City on a free transfer after winning his one and only trophy with Arsenal, and went on to claim the League Cup with City in 2016, as per the website.
