Arsenal’s 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth still seems to have left some fans growing tired of Unai Emery, if the responses below are anything to go off. Despite only being one point behind Manchester City, they’ve drawn three out of the last five games and the manager’s decisions seem to be angering supporters on Twitter.
Nicolas Pepe has made six appearances for the Gunners this season, and proved fairly inconsistent after his summer move. Who Scored rated him 8.07/10 for the North London derby, in which he bagged an assist, but then against Manchester United last week, he scored just 6.32/10. Against Bournemouth though, he assisted the only goal of the game, looked positive (the Daily Mirror handed him a 7/10 for his performance) and then was taken off in the 63rd minute.
Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted the change to their followers, which read: “It’s time for our first change… and that means it’s time for Gabi.” Arsenal fans weren’t too pleased with the substitution and they made their feelings known in the replies.

Don’t get why he’s going off. He assisted our only goal so far.

How successful do you think Nicolas Pepe will be for Arsenal this season?
