Some Arsenal fans have given their verdict on Stan Kroenke after AFTV Media claimed on Twitter that it was time for the businessman to dip into his pockets at the north London club.
Arsenal have been linked with moves for the likes of Dayot Upamecano and Thomas Partey in this summer’s transfer window but the pair could potentially cost a very pretty penny.
The Gunners have arguably been crying out for a quality central defender and defensive-midfielder for a number of years now and in today’s current market those players do not come cheap. Therefore if Arsenal want to buy them to improve the quality of their side, they will likely have to pay huge money, but sometimes spending big can reap big rewards.
Mr. Kroenke remains the club’s major shareholder, and back in 2013 he said that he is not happy until the Gunners win trophies, but stressed how important it was for the club to remain successful commercially, according to Arsenal’s official website.
