Seeing as we’re now in November and have the festive football fast approaching, the transfer rumours mill has started to pick up, and this latest story hasn’t got many Arsenal fans excited as The Daily Express have claimed that The Gunners have jetted scouts out to keep an eye on Atalanta defender Gianluca Mancini.
As per Express Sport, Arsenal are interested in signing Atlanta’s talented 22 year old centre back, Gianluca Mancini in January. The club noticed his fine performances this season and has sent personnel to watch him play. Roma and Inter are also interested in the player. #afc pic.twitter.com/6zET7piEnd

The 22-year-old Italian defender scored his 4th goal of the season against Inter Milan at the weekend when he powered home a header from a deep free-kick during his side’s 4-1 demolition of the famous Milan club. His header against Inter made it three goals in three games for the centre-back and it’s no surprise to see that some of Europe’s top clubs are taking note of Mancini after his barn-storming start to the season.
The 22-year-old’s form has been crucial to his side’s impressive form as of late after Atalanta stuttered at the start of the season. The club had just six points from eight games before Mancini came to form, and now, as they’ve won four games on the spin, it looks like Arsenal will be keen to get in on the defender’s impressive form amd make a move to The Emirates happen swiftly when January comes around, even if the fans want to look elsewhere.

We need to go all out for De Ligt or Skriniar. This kid seems no better than Holding or Mavro

With Chambers and Holding projects successfully ongoing, we need a nearly finished product. The player should provide much needed immediate cover and stability that suits the coach's chosen system of playing.

@Arsenal We don't need another central defender, what we need urgently is a winger!

No offence to the lad, but at this moment, holding is a better player .

The Gunners don’t want to sign Mancini and would rather see their club send scouts to have a look at some more high profile targets.
