Plenty of Arsenal fans have lashed out at Roy Keane after the pundit voiced his displeasure at the side’s celebrations for the fourth goal in their win over Newcastle United.
With the game firmly secured at 3-0, Alexandre Lacazette struck home a fourth goal deep into stoppage time, sparking jubilant scenes after the Frenchman ended his dry spell in front of goal (via BBC). The former Republic of Ireland international wasn’t pleased, though, as he launched a scathing attack on the north London outfit, claiming he jokingly thought the Gunners were 10 points clear at the top (via Sky Sports).
One fan described the former midfielder as a ‘miserable hard man’ while another claimed he is still ‘bitter’ from his clashes with Gunners legend Patrick Vieira.
Must be hard work to keep up this miserable ‘hard man’ act.

Sunday’s win over the Geordies, coupled with Manchester United’s victory over Chelsea, means the Emirates Stadium outfit are seven points behind the west Londoners, who sit in fourth place. The 48-year-old pundit’s comments seemed to have annoyed some Arsenal fans as they lambasted the Premier League legend. Here are some of the tweets:
Roy Keane would be angry if you even celebrate winning Champions League or World cup
