Arsenal have done something this season that they never managed under Arsene Wenger as they’ve lost their first two games of the season. It was never going to be easy considering they started by hosting Manchester City and travelling to Chelsea. However, the supporters are keen to get a win over West Ham on Saturday and they’ll be more likely to do that is Lucas Torreira starts.

The Gunners have spent a lot of money n the transfer window and the main signing has been Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria. The young Uruguayan replaced Granit Xhaka in the Arsenal midfield on Saturday against Chelsea and the supporters will be desperate to see him out on the pitch to make his full debut, which will probably come against West Ham at The Emirates on Saturday.
Torreira played the last 20 minutes against Manchester City in Arsenal’s Premier League opener and then he came off the bench at half-time at Stamford Bridge to play the second half. It seems like Unai Emery is just prepping the young midfielder before he plays his first full 90 minutes. Match fitness will have been an issue for the defensive midfielder but now he’s getting up to speed the fans will be excited for him to start.

Can’t understand why Emery can’t see that , you buy a world class defensive midfielder then still pick Xhaka and Ramsey against the two most attacking teams in the league
