Tonight sees the biggest clash of the Premier League game-week as Arsenal make the journey north to take on Manchester United. It will be an interesting clash and the Gunners’ midfield pairing is a talking point ahead of it, seeing as Granit Xhaka is serving a one-game suspension, that suspension has led some fans to call for Ainsley Maitland-Niles to step in.
Tempted to put Ainsley Maitland Niles next to Lucas Torreira for tomorrow. He has played against United before was man of the match earlier this year. Don’t sleep on him.

The last time that Arsenal went to Old Trafford, Maitland-Niles played a huge role for Arsene Wenger’s side. Whilst the dynamic young midfielder helped to influence a positive result for his side, the way he dominated the middle of the park was highly impressive and Unai Emery shouldn’t rule out a return to the starting eleven for the 21-year-old, who hasn’t featured in the Premier League since the opening day defeat to Manchester City.
The midfielder is yet to get back on his feet after suffering a hairline crack in his calfbone, although he has been back in training and on the bench recently. Maitland-Niles is one of those players here his versatility is one of his biggest weapons. The dynamic youngster can play anywhere in midfield and as a full-back on either side, so it would be no surprise to see Emery trust him with a starting role in a big game like tonight.

True but he hasn't really had a good run and may not have the confidence like last time. Hope he proves me wrong if he starts because I know he has the quality. Guendozi would be aa safer option right now

I prefer AMN to Guendouzi. He is more of a fighter and makes less mistakes. We could also play Ramsey there with Mhki up top. But my preferred midield would be. Torreira-AMN-Ramsey

The Gunners want to see Maitland-Niles tonight and will hope Emery affords him a chance in midfield.
