Before the home clash with West ham yesterday, Aaron Ramsey was presented with his club’s player of the season award for his performances in the 2017/18 season in which Arsenal made the League Cup final and the Europa League semi-finals. However, a lot of fans believe Nacho Monreal should have won it.

Nacho Monreal did come in second place for the award, so at least he was noticed for his stellar performances. However, the fans are all of the opinion that the Welsh international really should not have won the award. He had some good moments in the season but ultimately the consistent graft from the club’s Spanish full-back has had the fans fuming that he wasn’t awarded for his displays.
Ramsey picked up the award for the second time in his Arsenal career yesterday and the fans will be hoping that this season sees the right man win the award after Monreal was robbed this time around. Loads of fans loved watching the humble Spaniard go about his business and as he developed a goalscoring touch towards the end of the season it would have been fitting for the 32-year-old to claim the accolade.
