Arsenal fans were feeling pleased after the rumoured home kit for the 2020/2021 season was leaked.
According to Footy Headlines, the side’s home colours will feature ‘a darker shade of red while keeping the club’s traditional look of a red body and white sleeves’. It sounds as if the kit will be reminiscent of the 2005/2006 strip, which was a dark red/maroon colour as the north London outfit celebrated their last year at Highbury.
This year’s home kit was delayed in its release due to the deal with Puma, however, the new strip should be released much sooner, according to the publication. The Gunners bring back a famous old design as new sponsors Adidas remade the famous ‘bruised banana’ strip that was famous during the early 90s.
