Arsenal: Fans rage as Dani Ceballos is set to be snubbed by the club

Some Arsenal fans are raging as Dani Ceballos is set to be snubbed by the north London club, according to El Confidencial (via Daily Mail).

As per the outlet, the Gunners do not plan to ask Real Madrid if they can take Ceballos on loan for a second time. The central midfield players’ loan spell at the Emirates is due to expire on June 30th but AFC will ask Los Blancos if they can keep hold of Ceballos until the end of the season if the Premier League can restart following the global pandemic.

The 23-year old has featured relatively heavily in the famous red and white strip this campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions, whilst also chipping in with a goal and two assists, according to Transfermarkt.

In the previous term, the Spanish international played in 34 games in all competitions, netting three times and making two assists (via Transfermarkt).

Given the number of matches he played, perhaps it was a surprise to let Ceballos go out on loan, but it seems as if Arsenal may not be his next destination should this option be taken up again.

Imo bad decisions if not replaced hes hasn’t been consistent but ceballos imo more talented than any cm we got 🤷‍♂️
